Well I finally did it...  I broke down and actually paid for a domain.  Crazy I know...  I live with a real-life Maven (or expert at findind deals and coupons) so my life usually revolves around finding ways to get things for free or at least as cheap as possible, which I must say Blogspot has helped me out with for quite a while now.  But... The time has come to get a little more professional.  I've started booking more weddings and I figured it had to be done.   Needless to say I did get a good deal, but I'm now proud to say that my side photography business is legit!  (Well at least as legit as a domain name makes it.)

Ok so I promised to blog about Ashley and Zack's wedding in St Thomas about a month or two ago and I'm just now getting around to it....  I have tons of excuses but none of them good!  :-P  So.....  Without further ado:

Joe and I have known Zack since college.  Zack and Joe were roommates through college and Zack had a hand in introducing me to Joe.  Joe and I were talking about how we needed a vacation, so when Zack called and said he and Ashley were thinking about getting married on a cruise we said "We're so there!".  It was just icing on the cake when they asked me to be their photographer.  What a great vacation!  We had one of the most fun weeks ever!  The ship sailed to 4 different islands with St. Thomas being the island that the wedding was on.  Everything was amazingly gorgeous and I now am wildly jealous of the people who get to live on those islands.... 

Ash, we are sooooo glad you found Zack.  You are absolutely the most perfect girl for him! (And you were/are gorgeous!!!)

The ceremony took place at a villa overlooking the ocean.  Could not have been more perfect!

I'm not joking, the temperature was probably close to 100°F with 100% humidity.  So the entire wedding party decided to cool off a bit...

After the wedding we had time to explore the island and the boys were still in the picture taking mode.

The Reception was on the ship and was in the coolest room! 

The day after the wedding we stopped in San Juan, Puerto Rico and decided to take a few more pictures.

Hands down, Christine and Norm's Wedding was one of my favorites!  The whole day was incredibly relaxed and fun.  I can't even begin to tell you how hilarious Norm and his groomsmen were.  They made me laugh constantly and pulled so many stunts and shenanigans I finally had to beg them (after Norm cut his hand and broke the cufflink on his shirt...  Seriously broke it in half) to calm down.  I'm sure Christine would have killed me for participating in the complete ruin of his tux before the wedding even started...

The wedding was beautiful and the reception location was amazing!  It was a cafe calle Zoe's in downtown Greeley.  Seriously, if you're ever in Greeley, stop by Zoe's and get a cup of coffee.  You won't regret stopping.

The song above and the lyrics: "We have a love people dream about" pretty much sums up Christine and Norm's wedding day.  The two of them are an incredible couple and we wish them the best!
